How working with us starts
Tell us what you need
Send an enquiry or a WhatsApp message: what has to be done, and any date it has to be done by.
We agree the work in writing
An engagement letter sets out what we will do, what we need from you, and the fee. Nothing starts until you have agreed it.
We do the work and tell you what is due
We prepare and file what we have agreed, and tell you what you owe, when it is payable and what comes next.

Who do you work with?
Individuals with a tax return to file, sole traders, partnerships, landlords and small limited companies, mostly owner-managed. We also prepare accounts and tax papers for businesses in the UAE.
Can you take over from my current accountant?
Yes. With your permission we write to your current accountant for professional clearance and the information we need to carry on: last year’s accounts and returns, any open matters and the dates coming up. It is a routine step, and the professional bodies expect it.
What do you need from me before you start?
Proof of identity and address, which the anti-money laundering rules require us to check, a signed engagement letter setting out what we will do, and the records for the work itself. We tell you exactly which records at the outset.
Do you work with clients outside London?
Yes. The work is done online: records are shared digitally and filings are made electronically, so where you are in the UK makes no difference. Our London address is our registered office.
What if HMRC opens an enquiry into a return?
Enquiries, investigations, penalties and disclosures are handled by our specialist practice, Linx Tax Defence, part of the same company. If an enquiry follows a return we prepared, the people who know your figures stay involved.
Talk to us about what you need
Tell us what you have to do and by when. We will explain what is involved and send you a fixed-fee quote, agreed in writing before any work starts.
